2023 MotoGP Qatar Airways Grand Prix; Lusail International Circuit has shared essential guidelines for attendees to ensure a memorable experience

It's only a few days away from the 2023 MotoGP Qatar Airways Grand Prix of Qatar. Lusail International Circuit (LIC) has released important rules and advice for spectators to guarantee a seamless and enjoyable experience over the race weekend as supporters and teams get ready to take in the spectacle.

The LIC APP must be downloaded and real-time updates should be checked on LIC social media platforms in order to be informed, since information and timings are subject to change.

The whole itinerary of all the practise and qualifying sessions, support races, press conferences, and special events for the weekend's track activities can be accessed online.

The venue gates will open gates will open as follows:

Friday: 1:00 pm – 9:00 pm 

Saturday: 12:30 pm – 9:00 pm 

Sunday: 2:00 pm – 9:00 pm 

Reaching Lusail International Circuit:

Metro:

The public transport system has been carefully planned to guarantee that participants get to their destination without difficulty. There will be a free shuttle service running from Lusail International Circuit to Lusail Metro - QNB Station (red line), and vice versa. The following times will be observed for the shuttle service running from the metro station to LIC.

Friday: 2:00 pm – 9:00 pm 

Saturday: 12:30 pm – 9:00 pm 

Sunday: 2:00 pm – 9:00 pm

The shuttle journey is expected to take around twenty minutes. The east side of the metro station will be the optimal location for the free shuttle bus service.

Personal vehicle:

There will be free parking to minimise traffic jams, ticket holders are encouraged to arrive early. In order to lessen road congestion, fans are also urged to carpool and take public transit. Designated parking spots by the handicap parking permit will be provided for spectators in need of accessibility support. It is advised that attendees utilise Exit 29B and proceed to the appropriate parking lot by following the instructions for spectators. Please be aware that Al Khor Coastal Road will not provide access to LIC.

Download the LIC APP and navigate to the Maps menu to easily access the parking lot. From there, visitors can follow suggested parking routes according on the type of ticket they are purchasing.

Taxi:

Up to nine o'clock at night, Uber and Karwa cabs will be accessible at certain locations close to the venue entrance gates. After that, taxis can be ordered using the Karwa or Uber applications.

Security, Ticket Check, & Scheduling:

All participants must go through a security check before they can access the circuit to guarantee everyone's safety. To prevent things from being confiscated, before making travel plans, the list of restricted and forbidden items must be checked. Restricted things might be securely kept in specified offices, in order to be collected after the event.

You will also need to show the QR code on your ticket at the venue gates, so please make sure your phone is fully charged and has enough cellular data. To prevent being denied re-entry, you must scan your ticket each time you go beyond the venue's security barrier. Participants must confirm the validity of their tickets, as they can only be purchased via the official Lusail circuit website and cannot be obtained on-site. It is also forbidden to acquire tickets from third-party dealers without authorization.

Fanzone activations:

The Fan Zone is open to all spectators with a valid ticket, who may then participate in its events. Signs and organising staff will be available to help guests find their way around the assigned zones with ease. Families and kids will enjoy the games and activities that the Fan Zone is sure to offer. Additionally, a large range of regional and international flavours will be offered by food and beverage sellers. The fanzone promises something exciting for everyone to do. Giant puzzles, a chance to meet your favourite rider, face painting, 3D drawing, Lego construction, simulators, kid-sized electric motorbikes, and 360-degree video booths are a few of the events.

Aside from that, visitors will be treated to cultural events at the location, such as a date palate journey, an oud and bakhoor exhibition, an Arabic coffee tasting, and henna. Visitors can also visit partner and exhibitor booths to make the most of their entire racing experience.

LIC is committed to ensuring that everyone has a smooth racing weekend. Because of the event's duration and wide range of offerings, it is advised that guests wear comfortable shoes and drink enough of water.
