NewsMuseums are changing from being static venues that just house art and artefacts to becoming dynamic places that incorporate cutting edge technology. And the 3-2-1 Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum (QOSM) is proof of that, especially after launching the cinematic art show "A 21st Century Portrait, 2006" by directors Douglas Gordan and Philippe Parreno as part of its recent digitalization initiative.
The 3-2-1 QOSM Head of Digital, Adrian Fisher, explained the museum's digitalization initiative. He underlined that the museum is aware of the rapidly approaching field of artificial intelligence.
According to Fisher, the show records unedited, uninterrupted, and contiguous material while freshly exploring classic filmmaking techniques. Viewers are given an immersive experience by the purposeful use of camera moves, zooms, and focus alterations, which change the viewpoints of the players and the audience. He said that this method provides a fresh and insightful perspective on the game, transcending the limitations of fixed positions in a live football match.
