The 34th Doha International Book Fair (DIBF) will take place from May 8 to 17, 2025, at the Doha Exhibition & Convention Centre. The Ministry of Culture stated that the event would have a large international involvement including hundreds of publishing companies from around the world, as well as considerable cultural participation from embassies of sisterly and friendly countries.
The DIBF is the region's longest-running book fair, known for its excellent reputation and consistently high visitor attendance. It attracts attendees not just from Gulf and Arab countries, but from all around the world.
The festival prioritizes children and young people by designating large pavilions to children's book publishers and providing interactive activities to showcase children's skills and encourage reading. Furthermore, several cultural events will take place on the sidelines of DIBF, addressing a wide range of public concerns.
