BUTEC, “Bureau Technique d’Etudes et de Construction”, or Technical Office for Engineering and Construction, was conceived as an EPC contractor some 50 years ago, long before the concept or its acronym even existed. As an innovative and new entity, this was a telling start that susbsequently set the tone for the next 50 years. BUTEC was then, as it is now, a contractor that strived to be at the forefront of its field and a leader to a better way of doing business. BUTEC never believed that modernity was only a status to achieve but rather a path to forge and a continuous motor to remain ahead.
