Doha International Equestrian Tour kicks off at Al Shaqab

The renowned 2025 Doha International Equestrian Tour begins today at Al Shaqab, with more than 150 riders from more than 30 countries vying for first place in the premier round.

As the flagship showjumping event returns, with three rounds after last year's success, both of Al Shaqab's world-class Longines indoor and outdoor arenas will be open during the Tour. Today is the first day of the event, which will continue through Saturday.

The third and final round is set for January 23–25, while the second round will be held from January 16–18.

With more than €1.7 million in total prizes up for grabs, riders will compete in one-, two-, four-, and five-star divisions. The competition will feature more than 400 horses from around the globe.

According to Mohammed Jaber Al Khayarin, the event director, up to 277 riders will participate in all Tour rounds.

During the Doha Tour rounds, organizers have also scheduled a lot of public events.

Fans can get tickets via Qtickets; general admission is QR50 for adults, QR25 for kids ages 7 to 12, and free for kids under 7. Additionally, there are hospitality and VIP packages that provide valet parking, premium seating, and exclusive access.

Today's events begin with the CSI1* (1.10m) event at 12pm, and the CSI4* (1.45m) World Cup Qualification round will follow at 7:30pm.
