At a press conference held Thursday at the Sheraton Doha Hotel, the organizing committee announced the race courses for the 42-, 21-, 10-, and 5-kilometer race categories. It also announced that races up to 21 kilometers will be free for people with disabilities.
With the intention of promoting awareness of the value of sports and physical fitness, the racers begin their journey at the Hotel Park and travel over the charming Doha Corniche.
Sabah Rabiah Al Kuwari, the vice chairperson of the organizing committee, stated that the marathon, which was awarded the Gold Label by World Athletics for the second time in a row, demonstrated excellent organization and a dedication to global standards.
