The fifth Katara International Arabian Horse Festival (KIAHF) has commenced at the Cultural Village Foundation (Katara).
The festival, which is organized by the institution in collaboration with the Qatar Racing and Equestrian Club (QREC) and the Qatar Equestrian Federation (QEF), intends to promote the State of Qatar's heritage in equestrian sports, which Qataris have enjoyed since ancient times, as well as their fascination with the ancient Arabian horse breeds. The event will take place between January 29 and February 8. In February 2021, the festival's inaugural edition was introduced.
The three primary activities of this year's event are the Arabian Peninsula Horse Show from February 5–8, the horse auction on February 3, and the Al Jazira Horse Championship, which takes place from January 29 to February 1.
One of the biggest equestrian sporting events, KIAHF is part of Katara's yearly series of events and is making significant strides in a number of organizational and artistic areas, in addition to its related activities.
