First Qatar International Rehabilitation Conference is set to be held in January 2024

NewsThe inaugural Qatar International Rehabilitation Conference (QIRC-1) is scheduled for January 2024, according to its organisers and intends to be a venue for exchanging expertise, insights, and best practices in the field of rehabilitation.
The two-day conference, themed "Transforming Rehabilitation Practice: Exploring Global Trends, Advances and Innovations," will bring together regional and global experts, including those from Johns Hopkins Medicine, to exchange knowledge, best practices, and research developments in an effort to enhance patient care and foster teamwork.
The conference will be mostly hosted by the Qatar Rehabilitation Institute of Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), which is renowned for its cutting-edge facilities and diverse team of professionals.
The conference, which is anticipated to draw close to 1,200 people, will feature a variety of sessions, such as panel discussions, keynote addresses, and breakout sessions. Attendees will have the chance to interact with distinguished international speakers, participate in debates, and influence the direction of rehabilitation practice.
Mariam Al Mutawa, Acting Chief Nursing Officer at HMC, emphasised the importance of nursing services in rehabilitation and urged medical professionals to attend the conference.
