Katara Cultural Village is conducting Hand Embroidery Workshop from 7th August to 10th August 2022.
The workshop includes a definition of the Naqdah craft, which is one of the ancient traditional crafts, practiced by women and requires accuracy and skill in implementation.
Certain multi-colored wicker threads and their own needle will also be used. During the workshop, participants are trained on the types of inscriptions and decorations, and how to deal with wicker, which is characterized by two colors - gold and silver. Only women may be able to register for this programme.
To register, send an email to kids.workshop@kataraforum.com. Katara will award certificates to the participants at the conclusion of each workshop. Finally a response will be made via e-mail or by phone with confirmation of attendance.
