The Cultural Village Foundation has announced that the 6th International Hunting and Falcons Exhibition (S’hail) will open on Monday and continue until September 10 at Katara. Eighten countries will be participating in the exhibition. The participating countries are: Qatar, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Lebanon, Luxembourg, Pakistan, Russia, South Africa, Spain, Türkiye, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, and the United States of America.
The Zone A of the exhibition is where the camping equipment companies are located; the centre of the hall is the auction area; Zone B is the weapons and falconry section located on the left tent from the main entrance; on far left, Zone C, cars custom and falcons. The main exit is also located at Zone C. There will be a dedicated caravan area as well. Lafwa and Miqyal restaurants are at the right side of the main entrance of the event. Hikam Square at the Cultural Village is where the exhibition will take place. It is next to the Drama Theatre or near Building 16.
Katara has announced that competitions will also take place during the event, including the best pavilion competition and falcon hoods competition. Interested companies and individuals should coordinate with the committee for participation.
Meanwhile, S’hail is introducing an online store to organisations that want to further market their products and services in the cyberspace. Registration fee is QR1,000. People who want to take part in the event can purchase a ticket via S’hail mobile application, available for both iOs and Android users, or on its website, s-hail.qa.
The latest edition of the expo will feature the best falcons, hunting, and falconry gear available worldwide. It is one of the biggest of its type and strives to boost hunting as a recreation as well as to promote Qatar’s rich Arab history.
