The first edition of the Fishing Exhibition officially began at Old Doha Port. The four-day event delivers an intriguing blend of tradition and innovation through interactive experiences, live nautical performances, local and regional fishing businesses, and a thrilling fishing competition.
In addition to live cultural performances and a range of interactive activities, the Fishing Exhibition will include competitions with rewards exceeding QR300,000. On the last day, the winners will be crowned.
The most well-known items from the marine industry will be on exhibit, and participants will also have the chance to try traditional dishes that are influenced by Qatari flavors.
The exhibition reflects Qatari marine culture by taking place during the beginning of the fishing season in the area, making it the go-to place every year for sea enthusiasts to get ready for the fishing season by offering all the resources they need.
Free admission is available to the public every day from 4 to 9 p.m. at Mina Park, which is located south of Mina District in Old Doha Port, during the exhibition, which runs until April 12.
