Jusour started accepting applications for Mustaqel programme with the strategic five-year residency permits

The ground-breaking Mustaqel initiative is now officially accepting applications through Jusour (Qatar Manpower Solutions Company). The programme aims to stimulate the country's labour market by providing targeted five-year residence permits, which will allow a wide range of international business owners, exceptional talent, and highly qualified professionals to become residents.

The possession of assets, self-sponsorship, the opportunity to sponsor family members, and residence status are just a few advantages that come with holding a Mustaqel Visa.

The Entrepreneur Visa and the Talent Visa are the two categories of visas. Entrepreneur Visas are awarded to entrepreneurs who fulfill the specified conditions of the visa, primarily those in the Small and Medium Enterprises category. Highly qualified people with a track record of success in their area are the target audience for a talent visa.

You must obtain your endorsement from a recognised organisation in Qatar Talent Endorsement if you are applying for a talent visa.

If you're an entrepreneur, you must obtain clearance from a business incubator located in Qatar. If your application is accepted, a special endorsement code that you can specify on the form will be created.

Individuals who reside in Qatar or outside may apply for Mustaqel Visas (entrepreneurs and talents). Different documents will be included in each category's list. Applicants both inside and outside the nation can access the detailed list of required papers here.

Application Procedure for A Mustaqel Visa:

Step 1: Complete the online application and attach the required files.

An online application form may be found on the Jusour website and must be filled out. Create an account on the Jusour website, verify it, and use the login information to access the site for more communications.

After the account has been activated, select the desired visa category, fill out the required fields, upload the required files, and click "Submit."

Important things to consider when applying:

* After completing the application, be sure that every detail exactly corresponds to what is in your passport. The information supplied cannot be altered after it has been submitted, and any inconsistencies will render the application invalid.

* Choose your nation of origin based on the passport you are holding during the application process. Choose the nationality of the passport you are applying under if you have more than one citizenship and will use to enter Qatar.

* The passport you use for application must match the one you plan to use for travel to Qatar. The application will not be accepted otherwise.

* The passport must be valid for a minimum of six months from the date of arrival in Qatar. You won't be allowed to board a flight to Qatar if it isn't.

* To stamp the Mustaqel Visa, you must have at least one blank page in your passport.

* Only the initial applicant will be able to use the Mustaqel Visa.

Step Two - Pay the administrative fee online

After submitting your application for a Mustaqel Visa, you must use the payment channel to cover the administrative fees. The application fee for a talent visa is set at QAR 4,000. The cost for an Entrepreneur visa is going to be QAR five thousand.

The "3D Secure System," which is capable of handling international transactions, may be used to make the payments.

You will receive an email with payment confirmation as soon as the payment is completed. A sum equal to the administrative cost in Qatari Riyals will be taken out of your bank account in your local currency.

If your application for a Mustaqel Visa is denied, your credit card will be credited with the refund. The reimbursement will not include administrative fees for bank processing or services.

Contact the Jusour Help Desk for more assistance or if you experience any problems making your payment. Unless the Help Desk staff specifically requests it, do not start a new application or make a new payment.

Step 3: Download the Visa administrative cost receipt

You will receive a receipt with payment information as soon as the administrative expenses have been successfully paid and your application has been submitted in its entirety for processing. It is best to save a copy of it for future use.

Under Qatar's Ministry of Interior, the General Department of Passports will grant the Mustaqel Visa. You may monitor the status of your Mustaqel Visa application on the website.

Before boarding a flight to Qatar, ensure all your documentation is in order once the visa has been granted. Ensure that your passport is still valid for travel to Qatar at least six months from the date of admission. You should have a printed copy of your Mustaqel Visa with you. Keep all of your documentation available in case the immigration officer asks for more, such as proof of housing. The officer will stamp your passport after receiving your passport and the Mustaqel visa.
