“Karwa” taxis are the most convenient, safe and government owned metered taxi recognized with its unique appearance of turquoise green color.  The vehicles are comfortable luxury sedans,  servicing people in Qatar since 2004, in providing customer service with highest quality standards of taxi service to include aesthetic appearance, reputed automobile brand, in-vehicle fittings & equipment with latest technology adhering to safety standards, well trained drivers to take the passengers safely to their destination and to reflect the aspirations and image of Qatar at home and outside Qatar.Every car is cleaned inside and outside a twice a day before driver assigns duty of that car.

The fare charged as fixed by Govt. of Qatar and cars are all fitted with automatic tamper proof meters. The fare charged is on “Point to Point” basis. Minimum flag fare at airport starts at Qr.25/- and Qr.1.6/Km. Within Doha the flag fall rate is Qr.4/- and Qr.1.6 per km, while outside Doha Qr.1.9/per Km which is also applicable to night time fare.
