The inaugural exhibition of heavenly creation was opened by the Cultural Village Foundation in Katara in front of several ambassadors and representatives from diplomatic missions assigned to Qatar. With uncommon stone formations and natural patterns that appear as artistic paintings with stories and real-life scenes, the exhibition, which runs until January 27, highlights the divine creativity that has shaped nature over 25 million years.
General Manager of Katara Prof. Dr. Khalid bin Ibrahim Al Sulaiti emphasized that Katara has been eager to present such kinds of aesthetics, and the exhibition's global debut as the premier and unique event in terms of concept, art, as well as intellectual and spiritual dimensions, makes it the perfect opportunity for the public to explore the aesthetics of nature and miracles.
The 106 unusual stones on show in the two halls—53 in each—were created by volcanic processes that resulted in silicon dioxide, the primary ingredient in natural agate.
