Katara inaugurated the 'Journey of Colours in the Depths of Childhood' exhibition at Building 15 which will run until May 11

News EventIn collaboration with Al Arqam Academy for Girls, the Cultural Village Foundation, Katara yesterday opened the exhibition "Journey of Colours in the Depths of Childhood" in Building 15. Till May 11, it will be active.
During the event's launch, Prof. Dr. Khalid bin Ibrahim Al Sulaiti, General Manager of Katara, expressed his hope that the art show will accomplish its artistic and educational objectives as well as advance the skills and experiences of the participating students.
Additionally, he emphasised that Katara is always open to all creators of all ages and genres and that it promotes and funds efforts of this nature.
80 paintings created by children at the academy's primary schools are on display.
Saleh, teacher of art education at Al Arqam Academy for Girls, said that the topic of artworks revolved around Qatar’s hosting of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, silent nature and the other paintings depicted the city of Jerusalem, Al Aqsa Mosque, and raising the Palestinian flag on the Dome of the Rock Mosque, in addition to drawings on glass.
The exhibition also included works of art in which the students used a variety of tools such as plastic, wood, glass and cardboard which can be used to decorate the students’ offices and rooms.
