Katara released 5,000 pigeons to commemorate its accompanying program for 2023 AFC Asian Cup

NewsThe Cultural Village Foundation, Katara released 5,000 pigeons to commemorate the beginning of the foundation's AFC Asian Cup-related activities. This attracted a huge crowd enthusiastic about the programme which highlights many facets of heritage, art, culture, and Asian and Qatari folklore.
Katara has scheduled 46 varied activities between January 12 and February 10. The calendar is vast and diversified, showcasing a variety of Asian and Qatari customs, art, and popular heritage.
Among the events is the Street Art Festival, which takes place between Katara's corridors from January 12 to February 10 and features performances by musicians, artists, and actors from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.
The 4th edition of the Katara Worldwide Arabian Horse Festival, which is one of the most well-known worldwide events that features the greatest varieties of purebred Arabian horses in the world, will also take place in Katara from February 1 to 11 at Katara Corniche.
The Military Music Choir Show, which takes place in Al Hikma courtyard from January 12 to February 10, and the Parachute Show, which takes place on Katara Beach and features amazing performances by the Joint Special Forces, under the direction of the Qatar Air Sports Committee, are just two of the exciting and unique events that the audience will be able to see.
Al Hikma courtyard will host the Qatari Ardha. A group of people will perform on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday a traditional Qatari art, performed by a group of men facing one another or standing in semi-circles and holding swords in their right hands while performing this folk dance.
