Massive mural of Emir and Messi titled “Magic Night at Lusail Stadium,” now adorns the Argentine Neighbourhood in Al Wakra

The memorable moment when Emir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani dressed Lionel Messi in the traditional Bisht during the 2022 World Cup Qatar ceremony was immortalized in a large mural. The giant mural is located in Walkera and is 11 meters high and 27 meters long. The picture was created by the famous Argentinian muralist Martin Ron and the famous Qatari artist Mubarak Al Malik.

The mural is titled “Magic Night at Lucille Stadium”. With the support of Burva Real Estate, the mural was completed in just eight days. Argentinian muralist Martin Ron suggested that the mural would serve as a symbol of unity and inspiration, encouraging viewers to follow their dreams and aspirations.

Argentina's Ambassador HE Guillermo Nicolas said the mural plays a commendable role in fostering mutual respect and understanding between the two countries. He added that the mural is a representation of Argentina's achievements and cultural exchange.
