MoEHE announced new list of accredited universities for self-funded study with a significant expansion in Arab universities

NewsThe most recent lists of recognised universities for independent study have been released by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE). There are already 763 colleges approved to accept self-funded students, 16 of which are in Arab nations. Taking into account the academic rankings of Arab institutions based on the ministry-approved academic ranking sites, the new lists have seen a major increase.
Six nations—the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Lebanese Republic, the Sultanate of Oman, the State of Kuwait, the Republic of Tunisia, and the Republic of Iraq—are home to the sixteen Arab universities.
The new lists, which sorted colleges based on academic tracks, were painstakingly created. By facilitating admission to the best universities for study based on specialisation, this categorization system gives students a clear route to achieving their academic objectives.
The lists were divided into five categories: natural sciences, engineering and technology, medical and biological sciences, law, accounting, education, and social and humanitarian sciences and management.
The lists were created with consideration for university classification standards and to accommodate the needs of all student groups who wish to finish their university education on their own dime, according to Jaber Al Jaber, Director of the Certification Equivalency Department at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education.
Al Jaber underlined that in order to study abroad, all students must follow the lists based on their respective courses and have prior clearance. In line with the Cabinet's directives to guarantee the equivalency of university degrees after graduation, this responsible approach is essential prior to registering at institutions and beginning studies.
