MoEHE announced the opening of registration applications for licensing and operating private schools and private kindergartens

For the upcoming academic year 2024–2025, private schools and private kindergartens can apply for licences to operate. Applications will be accepted from November 11 through December 31, 2023, according to a statement from the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE).

In accordance with the guidelines for the criteria and processes for issuing licences to private schools, MoEHE has set the requirements for the owner, the school facility, and the academic component. A copy of the applicant's ID must be attached, they must be at least 21 years old, and they cannot be employed by the ministry or any of its related organisations.

The ministry said that proposals for the opening of new educational facilities will be welcomed via its website.
