MoEHE issued a circular announcing "Distance Learning Day" for all government schools on November 19

The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE) announced in a circular that Tuesday, November 19, 2024, would be "Distance Learning Day" for all government schools. The program aims to improve teachers' and students' technology proficiency in the classroom, supporting the Ministry's efforts to diversify teaching and learning methods. 

On this day, schools have the chance to maximize the advantages of the vast technological possibilities offered by e-learning. 

The circular contained guidelines for parents of students in the first through twelfth grade, as the Qatar Education System will be used to allow kids to attend live broadcast lessons.

In order to ensure that their children receive a top-notch education, the Ministry asked parents to make sure their homes are peaceful and conducive to learning. They should also make sure their children are attending class on time, as a student will be deemed absent if they miss two classes. 

According to the Ministry, it is essential to make sure that the Qatar Education System and Microsoft Teams are available on the student's device and updated to the most recent version. Additionally, it is necessary to make sure that the username and password are available to make it easier for the student to access the system and to follow the procedures for recovering the username or password when necessary.
