Mowasalat (Karwa) formally opened its new Karwa Academy, formerly known as Karwa Driving School, yesterday in an effort to raise driving and safety standards via the use of contemporary technology in teaching. Prominent attendees, members of the press, and important players from the transport and education industries graced the inaugural ceremony hosted at Karwa Headquarters.
With a new name, Karwa Academy plans to broaden its customer base and concentrate on business-to-business and business-to-consumer markets. It will also provide improved training programmes that cater to the changing demands of the transportation sector. A new logo and branding were unveiled at the ceremony, signifying the academy's dedication to innovation and quality.
The IMI accreditation and specially designed business training solutions have allowed the school to expand its capabilities and meet the needs of the nation regarding electric car technology.
In order to meet the constantly changing needs of the public transport and automotive sectors, Karwa Academy collaborates with prestigious organisations like the International Road Transport Union (IRU) and the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (ROSPA) to offer comprehensive training programmes like defensive driving, certificate of professional competency, and emergency response driver training.
In addition to ADR training, which is necessary for the safe transportation of dangerous commodities in compliance with MoT laws and directives, the Academy offers off-road training courses. In addition, Karwa Academy started offering licence training to applicants with impairments to empower them and help them learn how to drive safely and responsibly.
A tour of Karwa Academy's cutting-edge facilities, including the IMI-certified Training Centre, was also offered during the inaugural ceremony. The state-of-the-art training techniques and tools that are currently accessible to professionals and students aiming to enhance their skills in transportation safety and operations were demonstrated to the guests firsthand.
