Online registration for new students in government schools for the academic year 2023-2024 will begin from April 12

Online registration for new students at government schools for the academic year 2023–2024 will start on April 12 and last until September 9, 2023, according to the Ministry of Education and Higher Education.

The Ministry is preparing for plans to register and house students for the new academic year, according to Ali Jassim Al Kuwari, director of the Schools and Students Affairs Department, in a statement.

He stated that the previously specified date would also see the opening of an online transfer system for pupils between government schools operating in Doha and elsewhere.

Omar Muhammad Al Fadaq, the head of the student admission and registration section, said that the Ministry had announced the procedures that schools must follow, the papers and documents needed for registration, and its conditions, including the age of admission to register students and their nationalities, as well as its schedule according to the aforementioned categories in its circular released on April 9, 2023.

According to the public interest and what is necessary to plan and arrange the registration of students electronically, the Department of Schools and Students Affairs has divided the categories of students among the registration periods.

For Qatari students, children of Qatari women, and children of GCC citizens, early registration of siblings (via the public services portal/additional services for registration and transfer) will take place from April 12 to August 13, 2023.
