NewsIn collaboration with Our Habitas, the Qatar Airways Group has officially opened a five-star resort located near the Al Reem UNESCO-Designated Biosphere Reserve on Qatar's west coast. The resort, which is around an hour's drive from Doha's Hamad International Airport, offers breathtaking views of the Arabian Gulf, breathtaking sunsets, and an intriguing mix of wellness, adventure, and the arts.
At an inaugural ceremony to demonstrate the innovative hospitality endeavour that offers a unique experience, VIP guests, journalists, designers, and artists joined HE Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, the chairperson of Qatar Museums.
The region is distinguished by its unique topography of white cliffs and exquisite geological formations that provide an enthralling perspective of the Qatari desert. Each of the resort's one- to four-bedroom villas has a wide outside balcony with a private pool and views of the Arabian Gulf.
The East-West/West-East sculpture, a public art piece by internationally known artist Richard Serra, was commissioned by the Qatar Museums Authority and is located 1.6km from the resort. Additionally, Qatar Museums has been collaborating with Qatar Airways Group, offering a distinct viewpoint as well as a creative, cultural component.
The desert resort also has an infinity swimming pool, padel tennis courts, a state-of-the-art gym, a beach club, a terrace lounge, Qissa, the on-site restaurant, and a spa centre.
The Tapestry Collection by Hilton Fuwairit Kite Beach water sports hotel, recently opened by Dhiafatina, is located in the northern region of Qatar. The group still chooses hospitality projects by hand, such as Ras Abrouq, which serves passengers on Qatar Airlines and the Group's worldwide strategy as a whole.
