In an effort to further normalise relations, flights between Qatar and Bahrain will resume on May 25.
Bahrain's national news agency said that Bahrain's Civil Aviation Affairs made the announcement on Monday.
The official agency noted that the flights are being resumed "within the framework of the brotherly relations between the two brotherly countries and peoples, and in a manner that achieves the common aspirations of the leaderships and citizens of both countries."
When their respective foreign delegations gathered on April 12 at the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) General Secretariat offices in the Saudi capital of Riyadh, the Gulf nations declared a restoration of relations.
