Qatar ArtBeat sets new Guinness World Record title for the 'Most People Contributing to an AI-Generated Image

Qatar ArtBeat, a pioneering artwork co-created by the nation, has officially set a new Guinness World Records™ title for the 'Most People Contributing to an AI-Generated Image.'. In honor of Qatar National Day 2024, Media City Qatar, in collaboration with Google Cloud, launched a campaign that reached over 5.4 million people and generated 68,000 engagements across the country.

Over 15,000 contributions to thought-provoking topics published on Media City Qatar's and cooperating influencers' social media platforms, Google Cloud's cutting-edge Vertex AI platform, Gemini models, and Google BigQuery data platform merged these different voices into an artwork.

This partnership also included monitoring larger public conversations around Qatar National Day 2024 in order to create stunning artwork. Achieving the unique record for the "Most People Contributing to an AI-Generated Image" necessitated meeting stringent requirements and restrictions, all of which were properly confirmed by an official Guinness World Records judge.

The artwork will be projected onto some of Qatar's most prominent monuments, as well as reaching a global audience through Media City Qatar's internet outlets.
