Qatar Foundation’s edutainment show Stars of Science announced that applications for season 16 are open

Applications are now being accepted for the 16th season of Stars of Science, an educational programme produced by Qatar Foundation (QF) that encourages scientific creativity and entrepreneurship among young Arab people. Aspiring Arab inventors are encouraged to apply for a chance to participate in the programme and turn their creative concepts into workable solutions.

Mohammed Abbas Albumijdad, a Saudi robotics engineer, won the title of Top Arab Innovator in season 15. Wall-Bot is the name of the crawler robot he designed for vertical surfaces. Stars of Science has created a vast network of regional and global alliances since its founding in 2009.

Acknowledging the significance of nurturing the upcoming Arab innovators via international partnerships and mentorships, Stars of Science arranged a trip to Hong Kong for the three season 15 finalists, introducing them to the cutting-edge of technological innovation at Cyberport and the Hong Kong Science Park. They had the chance to interact with emerging tech companies, establish relationships with them, and create dynamic synergies that will advance innovation and technology in the future.

The Stars of Science alumni group, which consists of 168 individuals from 18 Arab nations, highlights the potential for scientific innovation and brilliance in the area. By Friday, December 1, applications for Stars of Science season 16 can be submitted online at starsofscience.info.
