Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs HE Dr Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah participated in a flag-raising ceremony on the patrol boat "Sheraouh" (Q62), in Fincantieri's Muggiano shipyard, in La Spezia city in Italy.
The ceremony witnessed the signing of receiving the ship by the Qatari Amiri Naval Forces.
Italian Minister of Defense HE Lorenzo Guerini and ranking Fincantieri executives attended the ceremony.
The ceremony was also attended by HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Italian Republic Khalid bin Yousef Al Sada, HE Commander of the Amiri Naval Forces Major General (Navy) Abdullah bin Hassan Al Sulaiti, head of the projects office at the Ministry of Defense Major General Hassan bin Rashid Al Ali, Defense Attache Major General (Navy) Hilal bin Ali Al Mohannadi, and a number of ranking officers at the Qatari Armed Forces.
