Qatar Tourism will host an Urban Playground at Lusail Boulevard as part of the Geneva International Motor Show Qatar 2023

This weekend, October 12-14, Lusail Boulevard will be the destination for car aficionados. As part of the Geneva International Motor Show (GIMS) Qatar 2023, Qatar Tourism will host an Urban Playground at the historic venue. The Urban Playground, which will be open to the public during the second weekend of GIMS Qatar, will bring to life the passion and excitement of the premier motor show with live, free entertainment and a stunning exhibition of dream vehicles.

As part of the Urban Playground, Lusail Boulevard will be blocked to traffic till Saturday. From Thursday through Saturday, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., there will be a daily schedule of celebrations. It will feature a spectacular lineup of music performers, DJs, and fascinating discussions at the majestic Lusail Plaza Towers' dedicated central stage. Throughout the weekend engagement, an Auto-Life Village will provide guests with an immersive experience complete with culinary delights, retail outlets, and family-friendly activities. It will have a pit crew challenge, vehicle doodles, and a bike circuit game.

The GIMS Qatar Parade of Excellence will take place on October 12 at 7 p.m. It will be held in partnership with the Sealine Circuit Sports Club - Mawater and will include up to 100 unique automobiles in a two-hour parade. The parade will feature recently revealed automobiles, supercars, historic cars, and museum items, as well as wandering acts and performances, in a genuine celebration of automotive culture.

The Urban Playground will be one of the activities held during the GIMS Qatar inaugural edition. The activities will convert Qatar into the ultimate automobile festival, with immersive experiences across the country's most renowned tourism attractions, including Lusail Boulevard, Sealine, the National Museum of Qatar, and the Lusail International Circuit. GIMS is set to gather thousands of onlookers over the next four days as it travels outside of its home nation of Switzerland for the first time.

The expo will be hosted on a more than 10,000 sqm space at the Doha expo and Convention Centre till October 14. The region's most famous and significant automotive exhibition will include 30 prominent automobile manufacturers, as well as ten or more global debuts and twenty or more regional premieres.
