Qatar University Alumni Association have inaugurated its new headquarters on the university campus

The Alumni Association of Qatar University (QU) has opened its new office on campus. The association's ambitious programmes for the 2023–2024 academic year were unveiled during a high-level conference that served as both the inauguration ceremony and the announcement. The QU President, Dr. Omar Al Ansari, the Board of Directors members of the Alumni Association, and the Minister of Environment and Climate Change, H E Sheikh Dr. Faleh bin Nasser Al Thani, attended the official opening of the new headquarters.

The Board of Directors had the chance to talk about the plans and ideas put forth by the important committees within the association, such as the Finance, Marketing, Career Development, and Chapters committees.

Sheikh Dr. Faleh stressed in his remarks on this particular occasion how important it is to give the Association a permanent headquarters within the institution. Thousands of male and female QU graduates come together at this stage; while their majors and graduating classes may differ, they are all united by their shared QU affiliation. He commended QU for its contribution to the nation's overall growth from the institution's founding in the 1970s to the present.

With its new offices, the association is demonstrating its dedication to building closer relationships both inside its network and with the larger community. The new structure will support the association's expansion and influence by acting as a centre for professional advancement, teamwork, and alumni activities.
