The nation's first license for Paylater to offer Buy-Now-Pay-Later (BNPL) services has been granted by the Qatar Central Bank (QCB).
QCB said in a statement on the X platform on Thursday that the issuance of this license supplements initiatives to fortify the financial technology industry, increasing the number of businesses in the financial technology sector that are subject to QCB's control and oversight to 13.
