Shop Qatar commenced on January 1, 2025, with an elegant opening ceremony at Place Vendôme

Shop Qatar, the nation's greatest shopping and entertainment festival, kicked out on January 1, 2025, with an elaborate opening ceremony at Place Vendôme. The month-long festival, titled "Your Shopping Playground," promises a lively mix of retail, culture, and family-friendly activities until February 1, 2025. 

The ceremony featured a captivating performance by Lebanese singer Abeer Nehme, as well as colorful parades and interactive games. Guests enjoyed a bustling atmosphere, filled with activities and appearances by notable influencers, which set the festival's festive tone. It provides an excellent blend of shopping, entertainment, and community interaction, highlighting Qatar as a destination for unforgettable experiences.

Every Friday, a weekly lottery draw will award winners with remarkable prizes such as luxury Exeed automobiles, cash prizes ranging from QAR 10,000 to QAR 100,000, and a Tesla Cybertruck as the grand prize. Residents and tourists can also participate in interactive activity zones, which include games, roaming parades, and meet-and-greets with beloved Spacetoon characters.   

The closing event, which is slated for February 1, 2025, at Doha Festival City, will include the final raffle draw and the announcement of the Tesla Cybertruck winner and other important prizes. The evening will also include special performances, surprise guests, and the Mall & Retail Awards, which will honour excellence in branding, customer experience, and teamwork.
