The aviation sector in Qatar showed a huge rise, year-on-year, in QCAA’s preliminary air transport statistics for July

According to the most current figures just issued by the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority (QCAA), air travel in Qatar continues to expand strongly in July. The aviation industry saw a significant increase year over year, as per the QCAA's preliminary air transport data for July.

In a message on social media, the QCAA stated that, as compared to the same month in 2022, the number of air travellers increased dramatically in July, by 24.3%. According to the survey, 4.3 million air travellers visited Qatar in July of this year as opposed to 3.4 million in July 2022.

A significant 20.1% increase in aircraft traffic was also seen in Qatar compared to July 2022. QCAA said that even while 22,598 flights were counted in July of this year, only 18,812 aircraft movements were logged across the nation.
