The Ministry of Education has launched the initiative "My teacher.. I will not forget you"

The Ministry of Education and Higher Education on Sunday launched an initiative on the Qatar Education Platform targeting high school students in public schools.

Titled "My Teacher.. I Will Not Forget You", the initiative, which will continue till September 22, falls within the framework of promoting the values of appreciation, gratitude and respect for teachers in conjunction with the World Teachers' Day held every year. October 5.

This initiative provides an opportunity for high school students to express their gratitude to teachers more by writing a story about their experiences at school that embodies the human position of a teacher who has influenced and enriched their lives and enabled them to follow a positive and distinctive track.

Participation in the initiative is available to all 44,758 (male and female) high school students through a specially designed page on the Qatar Education Platform, the ministry said.

The category of high school students was chosen primarily because of their mature experience, as they have appropriate writing skills for the concept of this initiative, which focuses on the concept of place and effective influence.
