News EventLusail International Circuit (LIC) will host the MotoGP Qatar Airways Grand Prix of Qatar 2023 in approximately 4 days. Racing teams and enthusiasts from across the globe will converge on Qatar for an exciting weekend of motorsport during the fast-paced event, which runs from Friday, November 17 to Sunday, November 19.
The exciting new Saturday race for MotoGP will take place in Qatar for the first time ever as part of the 2023 racing schedule.
MotoGP Tissot sprint race:
With rivals riding head-to-head in a race that is half the length of Sunday's Grand Prix, the quick and intense sprint duel promises to delight riders and spectators alike. A maximum of twelve world championship points will be awarded to the best nine finishers: P1-12, P2-9, P3-6, P4-5, P5-4, P6-3, P7-2, and P8-1 points.
The sprint race's grid is determined by the outcomes of the two qualifying sessions held in the morning; the main race on Sunday will also use the same grid.
