Al Wakra Public Park, Al Mashaf Park, and Rawdat Egdaim Park were all inaugurated yesterday by the Ministry of Municipality in collaboration with the Public Works Authority (Ashghal).
Eng Abdullah Ahmed Al Karani, the Ministry of Municipality's Assistant Undersecretary for Public Services Affairs, officially opened Al Wakra Public Park in its new configuration. The Director General of Al Wakra Municipality, Jaber Hassan Al Jaber, as well as a number of representatives from the Public Works Authority (Ashghal) and Al Wakra Municipality attended the inauguration ceremony.
Al Mashaf Park, situated within Al Wakra Municipality, was opened by the Ministry in the same context.
Mansour Ajran Al Buainain, the director general of the Al Rayyan Municipality, along with a number of other municipality representatives, attended the opening of Rawdat Egdaim Park.
With 31,585 sqm (62%) of its 46,601 sqm total area set aside as green spaces, Al Wakra Public Park demonstrates the nation's dedication to creating sustainable natural habitats that enhance people's quality of life.
Al Mashaf Park is one of the most well-known recreational areas in the Al Wukair neighborhood, with a total area of 4,741 square meters.
With its expansive 2,648-square-meter green space, the park offers the perfect setting for taking in the scenery. There are 97 trees in the park, adding to its natural beauty and creating a peaceful, comfortable atmosphere. As one of the most notable recreational landmarks in a neighborhood inside the boundaries of Al Rayyan Municipality, Rawdat Egdaim Park spans 24,000 square meters, giving guests plenty of opportunity to engage in a variety of activities.
