For runners and wheelchair users, the Wings for Life World Run is a genuinely unique and international competition. In order to stay ahead of the Virtual Catcher Car, contestants sprint alongside one another rather than across a finish line. Wings for Life World Run is in its eleventh year, and on May 4, 2025, runners from Qatar can join forces in Doha.
At precisely 2 PM, the race gets underway. The Virtual Catcher Car starts at 14 km/h 30 minutes after the start and keeps increasing its speed until the final athletes are captured. Research on spinal cord disorders receives all donations and admission costs.
