Work Permits Department at the Ministry of Labour received over 25,000 requests for new recruitment, during October

The Ministry of Labour's Work Permits Department received over 25,000 requests for new hires, private and general work licences, and employment changes, throughout October month last year.

According to the October statistical bulletin, the Work Permits Department received approximately 25,387 applications. Of these, 5,003 were for new hires, 15,409 were for general work permits (including an extension of the identification number), and 1,023 were for private work permits (benefiting from property, sponsorship of relatives, Gulf citizens, investors, and land beneficiaries). 

On the other hand, 3,952 requests were made in total to change the occupation.
