2024/2025 Cruise Season; Qatar welcomed over 53 cruise ships, 191,944 cruise passengers

According to Qatar Tourism, more than 53 cruise ships arrived in Qatar during the first half of the 2024–2025 cruise season, bringing 191,944 cruise passengers to the nation's shores. This comprises 20,951 guests who have started their cruises in Doha and made a turnaround.

According to the report, Germany has accounted for the largest percentage of arrivals to yet (30.2 percent), followed by Russia (10.8 percent) and Italy (9.2 percent).

Collectively, the top 10 nationalities make up 69.2 percent of all passengers.

In recent years, the cruise industry has grown significantly and is now a key component of Qatar's national tourist strategy. The ideal position of Doha Port in the center of the city enables tourists to make the most of their brief visits. (The QNA)
