A new package of digital maritime services related to seafarer affairs was launched by Ministry of Transport

As part of its ongoing efforts to achieve service automation, speedier transactions, simpler procedures, and performance excellence, the Ministry of Transport (MoT) has introduced a new suite of digital marine services pertaining to seafarer concerns. 

Confirmed Receipt of Application (CRA) Certificate, Endorsement Attesting the Recognition of GMDSS Certificate, Endorsement Attesting the Recognition of Certificate of Competency (CoC), and Endorsement Attesting the Recognition of the Working on a Tanker Certificate are the four new e-services that will be made available to the public for testing on the MoT official website.

This brings the total number of digital services related to small boats and seafarer affairs that MoT offers on its website for maritime transportation to 13. Through Qatar Post, recipients can get the services they applied for at the delivery location of their choice. The public can now apply for these services whenever and wherever they need them thanks to the new digital services, which saves them time and effort.

The new suite of e-services demonstrates how MoT continues to modernize the transportation industry, which is supportive of economic diversification and technological advancements. The industry has undergone a qualitative shift in digitizing its services by bringing intelligent solutions to the public and utilizing cutting-edge technologies to deliver improved services.
