A plethora of events and activities are being held at various locations of Qatar to celebrate Eid Al Adha

NewsPrayers and greetings marked the start of Eid Al Adha celebrations for Muslims around Qatar. Numerous activities and events were arranged in different places to showcase the nationwide celebration.
Celebrated on Dhul Hijjah 10, Eid Al Adha, also called the festival of sacrifices, is one of the most significant occasions in Islam. The occasion honours Prophet Ibrahim's pinnacle demonstration of faith when Allah ordered him to sacrifice his son Ismail and then provided a lamb in his place.
Eid Al Adha is observed from June 16 to June 20. There will be lively celebrations, exclusive offers, and thrilling events all around Qatar, making it the ideal destination for travellers looking for quick getaways, relaxing getaways, and families looking to spend enjoyable time together.
Large crowds attended the main locations for the Eid Al Adha celebrations. Numerous people flocked to the Cultural Village Katara to see the festivities and fireworks, solidifying the village's status as one of the top destinations for Eid celebrations.
Additionally, approximately 40 other activities, including theatrical and musical productions, were offered to the visitors. Along with the traditional Ardha dance of Qatar, it features performances by ensembles from China, Syria, Morocco, Jordan, and numerous other African nations.
Visitors also enjoyed a daily magnificent musical performance by the Police Music Band Show as part of the Eid festivities. While artists displayed their own abilities and creativity through live painting, children delighted in artistic activities.
Mall activities have proven to be a major attraction for people of all ages. With a live performance by Al Rayyan TV Kids, entertaining activities including arts and crafts, henna, face painting, mascots, competitions, and incredible prizes, Mall of Qatar provided the perfect Eid experience.
In honour of Eid Al Adha, guests at Tawar Mall were treated to a blend of excitement and pleasure. Children were drawn to kid-friendly art and craft projects, theatrical productions, clown balloon twisting, parades, and mascot visits.
Several people attended the Eid Al Adha celebrations held in Msheireb Downtown Doha. Every day, families flocked to Msheireb Galleria, a well-known tourist destination in the city, to enjoy engaging stage shows, roving acts, a treasure hunt, and kid-friendly face painting among other events.
Many parks throughout the nation offer lovely, green areas for people to play, unwind in, and engage in outdoor activities. They are open to the public from 5 a.m. until 1 a.m. Another draw for individuals who frequently flee the heat is the nation's beaches. A nautical traditional band showcases Qatar's rich maritime arts and cultural history during performances at Old Doha Port.
The band performed every day from yesterday till June 19 from 6.30 PM to 10.30 PM at AlBandar, which is across from the fish market (Chabrat Al Mina). Kids may have fun at the thrilling funfair game booths located across Mina District in the Old Doha Port, open everyday from 5 p.m. to 10.30 p.m. till June 22.
Many flocked to Souq Waqif in the evening on the first day of Eid, making it another popular destination.
People also celebrated Eid Al Adha with a wide range of fun activities and exclusive deals at Doha Festival City.
Visitors were enthralled by spectacular events and performances at Virtuocity, Angry Birds World, and Snow Dunes in Doha Festival City. These included interactive character presentations, theatrical productions, circus feats, and more. Up to June 22nd, there will be roving performances including a colourful circus procession and whimsical stilt walkers who will engage with guests all across the arena, adding a dash of fun and excitement.
