Agreement aimed at avoiding double taxation and preventing fiscal evasion concerning income taxes was signed between Qatar and UAE

NewsAn agreement to prevent double taxation and fiscal evasion with regard to income taxes was signed by the Ministry of Finance of the sister nation of the United Arab Emirates, which is represented by the Ministry of Finance of the State of Qatar.
H E Mohamed Hadi Al Hussaini, UAE Minister of State for Financial Affairs, signed the agreement on behalf of the Emiratis and H E Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari, Minister of Finance, representing Qatar.
H E Mohamed Al Hussaini, for his part, emphasized that this agreement completely shields businesses and individuals from direct or indirect double taxation while also fostering the development of trade and economic ties between the two nations.
The goal of the agreement is to finalize tax agreements that will end all instances of double taxation between the two nations. Through this agreement, both nations will be able to stop tax evasion and guarantee justice and equity for all people.
