Automatic renewal of establishment registration through a Single Window platform was launched

According to an official, the automatic renewal service for establishment registration via the Single Window platform intends to improve the business climate for enterprises and entrepreneurs in Qatar and draw in both domestic and foreign investors. 

Mohamad Hamad Al Nuaimi, Director of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry’s (MoCI) Single Window Department explained the recently introduced service—which the MoCI and the Ministry of Interior jointly launched—that allows establishment registration to automatically renew through the Single Window platform. He also emphasised how this service can benefit the country's business community. 

When a business renews its licence and commercial registration, it can use this service to get the most recent establishment registration. This programme is a part of an endeavour to expand the services offered to business owners and entrepreneurs, hastening their completion and enhancing the nation's environment for trade and investment.

The Single Window System was created in 2019 and serves as a one-stop shop for company owners establishing operations in Qatar. Through a clever electronic interface, the platform helps investors with every step of the application process, from planning to registration and licencing. As Qatar strives towards economic diversification and aspires to become a global investment hub, the national programme aims to improve operational efficiency in service delivery to reduce time and costs for investors.
