Chairperson of Qatar Museums HE Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad Al Thani has been named the most prominent Arab woman

The Arab Development Council for Women and Business has designated HE Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad Al Thani, the chairperson of Qatar Museums, the most notable Arab woman of 2023 and awarded her with the Arab leader's medal. Her humanitarian and diplomatic endeavours, as well as her social work in a variety of disciplines related to development, are honoured by this distinction. 

HE Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, the ambassador of the State of Qatar to Lebanon, accepted the honour during a reception held in the Beirut embassy. He greeted Dr. Iman Ghossein, President of the Arab Development Council for Women and Business, and her group.

HE Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani thanked President Ghossein for the honour on behalf of HE Sheikha Al Mayassa in a post on his official X platform account. He continued by saying that the accolade recognises the accomplishments made by female leaders in Qatar in the areas of innovation and development.
