Commercial Bank launched new Mastercard multicurrency travel prepaid cards in partnership with leading exchange houses

In collaboration with top exchange houses in Qatar, Commercial Bank, a pioneer in cutting-edge digital banking in the country, has announced the introduction of the new Mastercard multicurrency travel prepaid cards. All Al Zaman Exchange, Gulf Exchange, Al Dar Exchange, City Exchange, and Al Fardan Exchange branches presently sell the cards.

A reloadable prepaid travel card allows customers to load foreign currency (USD, GBP, EUR, CAD, AUD, and QAR), making it safer and more easy to pay with foreign currency when travelling than carrying cash. This card may be used wherever Mastercard is accepted, including ATMs, online stores, and points of sale (POS) both domestically and abroad. 

The Card is intended to provide users with the utmost convenience and peace of mind while they travel: Cardholders may see their spending balances and transaction history in real-time by connecting it to a specialised mobile app.

Additionally, the app is able to quickly switch between various currencies and, in the event that the card is lost or stolen, will promptly block it. 

The card is perfect for all travellers since it can be refilled at any of the exchange house branches in Qatar that are involved.
