Exemption of the citizens of Qatar from the Schengen visa approved

The Committee on Civil Liberties in the European Parliament has approved the exemption of the citizens of Qatar from the Schengen visa as announced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on 1 December 2022.

The Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the European Union and NATO, H.E. Mr Abdulaziz bin Ahmed Al-Maliki mentioned that this is an essential step towards the completion of the exemption procedure.

It was also mentioned that this step indicated the commitment of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the State of Qatar towards to best interest of the citizens and the facilitation of their access to countries across the world.
