Hamad International Airport witnessed a significant increase of 25% in passenger traffic in the first half of 2024

NewsThe first half of 2024 saw remarkable growth at Hamad International Airport (DOH), with a notable 25% rise in passenger traffic. Furthermore, compared to the first half of 2023, its aircraft movement has climbed by 19%, the total number of bags handled has increased by 19%, and cargo operations have increased by 12%.
Twenty-five million more people used Hamad International Airport in the first half of 2024 than in the same period in 2023—a 25% rise.
Comparing this period last year to this one, there was a 22.1% rise in point-to-point passengers. Passengers traveling straight into and out of Doha are referred to as point-to-point travelers, which is indicative of the thriving tourism industry in Qatar as well as the notable expansion in the number of airline partners using the airport.
