HMC and WHO unites for a pioneering agreement on implementation of Rehabilitation Module of Routine Health Information Systems

The World Health Organisation (WHO), in collaboration with the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH), and Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) have announced a groundbreaking agreement that marks a significant milestone for the field of rehabilitative healthcare. As a result of this partnership, Qatar will be among the first nations in the world to deploy the Rehabilitation Module of Routine Health Information Systems (RHIS), also known as the Rehabilitation Data System (RDS). This initiative might have a significant impact on surrounding nations under the Eastern Mediterranean Regional Office (EMRO) and serve as a catalyst for a regional shift towards a united and standardised approach to rehabilitation treatment.
