June 25 marks the 11-year anniversary of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani's ascension to the throne

June 25, 2023 marks an important milestone in the history of Qatar as it commemorates the tenth anniversary of His Highness (HH) the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani's accession to the throne, where he serves as the head of state and monarch of Qatar.  HH has been instrumental in a number of pivotal choices that have altered Qatar's destiny. 

The nation has advanced under his innovative leadership, making notable advancements in the fields of international affairs, sports, culture, politics, economics, and social sciences. 

The FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 was successfully and flawlessly hosted, making it one of his greatest achievements demonstrating Qatar's adeptness in logistics and effective cross-sector collaboration in addition to being a sporting competition. 

Qatar has outperformed other Arab countries by a substantial margin in Human Development Index, the Peace Index, and the Higher Education Quality Report and more.

The proactive approach of HH the Amir's leadership was especially evident during the world wide COVID-19 pandemic- crisis. 

The removal of the kafala system was a significant development that gave migrant workers more authority because it let them to switch occupations between contracts without getting permission from their employers. 

A great deal of focus has been directed towards the construction of school facilities, the creation of modern educational regulations, and the introduction of programs meant to give Qatari kids access to top-notch education.

HH Sheikh Tamim keeps pushing for the nation's unrelenting development in the direction of the Qatar National Vision 2030. The four main pillars of this vision are economic, social, human, and environmental growth. It provides a blueprint for Qatar's future. 

HH the Amir is also responsible for maintaining the security and sovereignty of the country as commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces. In addition, he upholds the rule of law and the defense of citizens' rights as the guarantor of the Constitution.
