Karwa and Uber announced a strategic partnership to bring Karwa Taxis to the Uber platform

In an effort to improve Qatar's transportation environment and promote the country's National Vision 2030, Mowasalat Co. (Karwa) and Uber launched a strategic agreement on Sunday that would see Karwa Taxis added to the Uber platform. 

With the Uber app, Karwa Taxi will offer a fresh, practical, and economical travel option. Just choose "Taxi" from the app. 

By this partnership, residents and visitors will have more travel alternatives and an efficient transportation network in Qatar thanks to the availability of Mowasalat Co. (Karwa)'s Public Transport Taxi fleet on the Uber app. 

Mowasalat Co. (Karwa) and Uber's cooperation in launching the new taxi service is an example of the strength of public-private cooperation in advancing the future of mobility. When there are more vehicles on the platform, ride sharing functions even better, providing quicker pickups and more reasonably priced, dependable rides. 

As part of the collaboration, Mowasalat Co. (Karwa) will also add luxury cars and electric cars to the Uber Black app, in keeping with Uber's goal of becoming an emission-free mobility platform worldwide by 2040. 

In Qatar, requests for Karwa Taxi journeys can be made as of today, May 26. With just a button press, passengers in Qatar may now summon a taxi, adding a new service to an already extensive product lineup.
