Katara will host two art exhibitions on August 14 as part of its efforts to promote visual arts

As part of its mission to support the visual arts, Katara - the Cultural Village Foundation will hold two art exhibitions on Wednesday. The Arab Postal Stamp Museum (Building 22) at Katara will host the inaugural exhibition, which will focus on hunting and falconry stamps. It will run concurrently with the Katara International Hunting and Falcons Exhibition (S’hail 2024) and finish with it. 

The second show, which will take place in Hall 2, Building 18, will focus on Arabic calligraphy and feature paintings and calligraphy by the late Osman Waqialla (1925–2007), a calligrapher and painter from Sudan.
